Somos la United Steelworkers, la unión industrial más grande de Norte América. 

Orgullosamente representamos a 1.2 millones de miembros y retirados en Estados Unidos, Canadá y el Caribe, quienes trabajan en casi todas las industrias.

Nosotros mezclamos y fundimos aluminio. Extraemos mineral de hierro y creamos cemento. Hacemos vidrio y muchas clases de metales. Producimos papel y productos de papel. Fabricamos turbinas eólicas que ahorran energía y ayudan a salvar nuestro planeta.

Somos enfermeras (os) y ayudantes de enfermeras (os). Hacemos motocicletas Harley-Davidson y acondicionadores de aire Carrier. Somos trabajadores del caucho que hacemos sus gomas (neumáticos), trabajadores de metal que hacemos materiales para edificios, casas, automóviles, aviones y carreteras. 

Te damos servicio en los bancos, y enseñamos en las universidades. Nos encuentras en las refinerías de petróleo y tiendas de comestibles. En compañías de utilidades y plantas químicas. Trabajamos en el sector público y en los bosques. Conducimos taxis y trabajamos en aeropuertos. Somos guardias de seguridad y electricistas. Somos mineros y trabajadores de farmaceúticas. Trabajamos en todos estos lugares y muchos más.

Somos líderes en nuestras comunidades, en nuestros lugares de trabajo, en nuestros gobiernos y más. Tenemos presencia en el Reino Unido, Irlanda, Inglaterra, Escocia, Méjico y muchos otros lugares alrededor del mundo.

Creemos en mejorar. Nos ponemos de pie y luchamos por algo mejor. Trabajamos para las familias trabajadoras alrededor del mundo.
